Sunday, January 22
3:00 p.m. on CBS -- AFC Championship Game
Pittsburgh (13-5) at Denver (14-3)
Who can survive the blitzkrieg? Two teams that love to blitz leads me to believe that these are two teams that will get involved in a shoot out. I like the Broncs in a shoot out. I favor the Steelers in a physical game. Both teams love to control the ball, which is another reason why I believe that this is going to be a shoot out. They are going to force each other to beat them in the air. Both teams are highly under rated. Broncs gallop to Detroit.
AV~Picks: Broncs 37 Steelers 27
6:30 p.m. on FOX -- NFC Championship Game
Carolina (13-5) at Seattle (14-3)
Will the Superbowl be an old AFC West rivalry? Or would we be given the Jake V. Jake treatment all week long? Again, these teams are evenly matched. Seattle may be in better health, but Carolina has been here before. Carolina heads back to the East coast with a two-week lay-over in Detroit, where they play one last game. Seattle watches the sunset over the Pacific during the Superbowl. Catz eat the seaburdz! Catz eat the seaburdz!

The Luckiest Mayor or Call Him Ray-Cist!
It can not be said enough that I decided to support our leaders during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Unity was too important for politics during the aftermath. Unity behind the President, the Governor, and Mayor Nagin. I gave them until the end of the year.
Mayor Racist Nagin has got to be the luckiest mayor with the pass that he has received on the whole. It was mostly due to the ineptness of Governor Blanco. How fortunate Racist Nagin has been to have this happen while Governor Blanco was still in office. With Blanco stealing all the headlines, Racist Nagin was able to fly under the radar.
On Monday, Racist Nagin was able to capture national headlines with his 'MLK doesn't mean milk' speech that he gave. Many people, especially down here, agree that God let Hurricane Katrina hit Nawlins.
Ask a refugee if they felt like God wanted to strike New Orleans, if you get the chance. Many of them will tell you that he did. Ask them why and I doubt any of them will tell you because we went into Iraq. What they will tell you is that God hit the city because something needed to clean it up, since the Mayor wouldn't. The city was plagued with crime, murders were rampant, armed robberies was a common thing, and people just lived in fear. Ask a refugee, there's a good chance they'll tell you what life was like in Nawlins. If they don't tell you how bad it was, there's a good chance that he's just a bum from your city that's milking Katrina for beer money.
So, was God mad at the city? Maybe, maybe not, but to say he was mad at Iraq? If I was God and I was mad at the United States for being in Iraq, I'd hit DeeCee. Don't you think that makes more sense? Why on earth would God hit the South's Sin City because he's mad about Iraq? Mayor Racist Nagin, if you're so worried about what God thinks, clean up the filth in your city!
But let's take a look at what Mayor Racist Nagin has done to clean up the FUBU city. I know I'm going to leave something off. Remember when a 'rich, white businessman' said that "people who want to rebuild the city foresee a town with a new demographic of fewer poor people". My god, can you imagine that? How racist is that? You can't have a city with fewer poor people? That means "less blacks?". It was "racist" enough for Mayor Racist Nagin to say that those comments "pissed me off". Then he concluded that "some people may think this is an opportunity for us to build the New Orleans of 1812. We’re not going to do that."
A burning issue at the meeting was a recent story in The Wall Street Journal in which a Nagin cabinet official who is a wealthy white businessman was quoted as saying that people who want to rebuild the city foresee a town with a new demographic of fewer poor people.
The story touched a hot button issue for the African-American state lawmakers, who expressed concern that Nagin might be coordinating a recovery program assuming that a large portion of poor blacks would be discouraged from returning to the city. The fear was heightened by the fact that Nagin had met with predominantly white business establishment leaders in Dallas Friday when he was there getting his family resettled and children enrolled in school.
But Nagin said the article "pissed me off" because "some people may think this is an opportunity for us to build the New Orleans of 1812. We’re not going to do that."
He said the business leaders called him in Dallas and he agreed to the meeting, where he "made it very clear to everyone in that room that we are going to move forward, with them or without them. And if they don’t like the direction we’re getting ready to head in, they can leave."
Imagine that, that little comment offended Mayor Racist Nagin. Is it just a little possible that when this business leader said "people who want to rebuild the city foresee a town with a new demographic of fewer poor people" that he meant nothing racist and he genuinely wanted to see poverty reduced in his city? Do you think it's possible that he believes that blacks don't have to be poor? Obviously Mayor Racist Nagin and the other "African-American state lawmakers" think that African-Americans should be mired in poverty. Of course, if you make your living because you "help blacks out of poverty", it makes sense to keep blacks in poverty. As long as their down, they'll need people that will help them up. Wolves in sheep's clothing leading the sheep to the wolf pack.
Thanks to the The Dead Pelican for reminding us of this story where Mayor Racist Nagin and C.B. Forgotston had a public bout of words. This prompted Racist Nagin to say "Shame on you! I have seen lots of terrible things as it relates to this storm… I must tell you the worst thing through all of this is the racist comments coming from both black and whites. It is appalling and extremely offensive". I couldn't agree more Mayor Racist Nagin, shame on you! We have seen lots of terrible things as it relates to rebuilding New Orleans... I must tell you the worst thing through all of this is your racist comments coming from both Farrakhan and yourself! Forgotston rightly had the forsight to see you for the racist that you are. At first, I was disappointed in Forgotston for those comments, but it didn't take Mayor Racist Nagin long to prove him right.
Let's not forget how Mayor Racist Nagin treated the Latino community upon their arrival. Many slept in conditions that many of us would never allow ourselves to go through and any good Democrat would have seen to it that the people cleaning up his city would have been paid better. In fact, you'd think Mayor Racist Nagin would just be grateful that somebody was cleaning up his city... but not the Mayor Racist Nagin. Science Daily
NEW ORLEANS, Dec. 18 (UPI) -- Flooded-out New Orleans has not turned out to be a goldmine for the countless Latinos who came looking for work in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
Many either cannot find jobs or find conditions so miserable and salaries so low that they become discouraged and leave, The Washington Post reported.
The newspaper said Latino workers have often been abandoned without transportation or shelter by the contractors who brought them to the city.
City officials have not been welcoming. In a speech to a business group, Mayor Ray Nagin asked how he could "stop New Orleans from being overrun by Mexican workers."
They weren't even Mexican, but hey, when your a racist, 'they all look the same to you'.
But where are these "poor blacks" that Mayor Racist Nagin want back going to stay? Why City Park of course. Since white people are no longer welcomed, you might as well use them for the Naginvilles.
Aside from that West Bank golf course site, City Park is slated to receive the largest single consignment: 680 trailers in the northern section. The list includes six other sites where 300 or more trailers will be placed, and 12 additional sites to hold between 100 and 300 units.
Well, this makes perfect sense to put black people on golf courses. Call it poetic justice; since black people weren't allowed to go onto golf courses back in the fifties, they get to live on them now. Maybe Mayor Racist Nagin thinks that of black people, that their ambition is to move a trailer onto the golf course and live there, but I don't think so.
So far we have Mayor Racist Nagin calling a white guy a racist, then calling another white guy a racist. Then he told the Latino community that they weren't welcomed; no caramel with that chocolate Mayor Racist Nagin? Turns his city park into Naginvilles, and Hillary thinks congress is ran like a 'plantation'? Then he tells white people they aren't welcomed into his 'Chocolate City"? I suppose his next two moves will be to move the Jews into 'work camps' and force them to clean up his chocolate city. After that, he'll probably throw out the computers and force orientals to do the accounting in an attempt to cut down on energy cost. In fact, if why do you even need electricity, after all, we can't leave the Arabics out of the chocolate city. I suppose they can hold torches on street corners late at night and carry Racist Nagin around to collect his rent in his Naginvilles.
It's time to stop giving to this guy, it's time to stop giving to New Orleans. He doesn't have an iota of appreciation of the help he's received from white people, Latinos, Orientals, Arabics, Non-Racist blacks. Unless you are a racist black person, why go to New Orleans this year? Why go to New Orleans at all?
Racist Nagin sure wants non -'chocolates' to give and give and give, but don't you dare come to his home. It's clear that he wants a "chocolate" Mardi Gras. He apologized, but I'm not buying anything from him, but I will call him "Ray" short for "Ray-Cist".

MLK ( a dream lost)-NFL Divisional round review
The news is a little slow today. All anybody wants to do is say 'What a great man" MLK was and tell us that we need to be less racist. I have a theory about people that preach to the rest of us about the ills of racism, you know, like the folks that put "Eracism" bumper stickers on the back of the car. I get a funny feeling, as a hispanic, that I ought to avoid the person in that car.
Back in high school, we had a guy who used to wear sunglasses that had 'Just Say No' written all over it. He was one of the biggest potsmokers in school, yet nobody ever suspected him of smoking pot. That's the feeling I get from the people that preach to us about the ills of racism. The "Eracism" bumper sticker is like camouflage for racist.
Hopefully I'm not referring to any of my readers, but I think some people have to preach to us about racism because they have their own unresolved issues to take care of. Personally, I don't have a need to talk about the need to end racism, it doesn't affect me because I don't associate with racist. My friends aren't racist. My family isn't racist. I have no need to tell you how unracist I am. Since I don't associate with racist, I don't see it as often as others. It's because I rarely see it, I don't have a need to preach about it.
But others do, because they see it more than I do. They see it more because the people they associate with are. It's built into their world. Often times, they are the ones to use the racial names. Now, it may seem that I am talking about just white people here, but I am talking about all races.
Take for example Louis Farrakhan, whose commented that New Orleans "Reflects what white supremacy has done.", is an example of a man who claims that he wants to see an end to racism, but his actions only increase it. Somebody ought to remind Mr. Farrakhan that New Orleans was majority black.
And Mayor Nagin wants to live up to the King dream of racial harmony, but when he said "God Wants New Orleans to be majority black.", and to desire a "Chocolate New Orleans" is to tell white folks, they are no longer welcomed in New Orleans.
NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Mayor Ray Nagin told a crowd gathered at City Hall for a Martin Luther King Day march that New Orleans will be "chocolate" again.
"We ask black people ... It's time for us to come together. It's time for us to rebuild New Orleans — the one that should be a chocolate New Orleans," Nagin said Monday. "This city will be a majority African American city. It's the way God wants it to be. You can't have New Orleans no other way. It wouldn't be New Orleans."
I don't take cream in my coffee, but this is going a little too far.
Imagine if Rudy Gulliani had said after 9-11 that New York should be white again. Mayor Ray Nagin's comments were nothing short of being racist and it's a crying shame that he disrespected Dr. Martin Luther King's dream of a "nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." while we take the day off in honor of him.
The greatest threat to the end of racism isn't members of white supremist organizations, they are at least visible enemies. It's people such as Mayor Ray Nagin and Louis Farrakhan that wear sheep's clothing but only lead the sheep to the wolf pack. They both say they want an end to racism, but on this day, a day we remember how far we've come as a nation, they both stood there to remind us how far we haven't came. Nagin and Farrakhan are simply two people that need to keep black people down, in order to prod theirselves up.
To the white people around the nation, I think Mayor Nagin's message is 'Yoo hoo' clear, you and your money doesn't belong in New Orleans. 'Hersey clear, white people add too much vanilla to Mayor Nagin's chocolate city. There isn't any milk in this chocolate, it's special dark. It's a city of music, a music where sharps and flats matter, but the regular notes don't. Mayor Nagin, I got your message, I'm not dark enough to go to YOUR city.
And those that have "Eracism" bumper stickers come to his defense. I can no longer support Mayor Ray Nagin.
NFL PLAYOFFS
I'm not going to rub it in to the Chicago Bears, nor would I to the Washington Redskins. Though I will admit, I found the grizzly performance scary. They were both teams that deserved to be where they are at, but the other teams were just better.
But I am sick and tired of hearing how lucky the Steelers and Broncos are. It wasn't luck that either team won. I picked the Broncos to win, I didn't pick the Steelers. I also stated that "if Pittsburgh played smashmouth football, they would walk away victors."
I figured Bill Cowar would make some terrible calls and lose the game, but to say the Colts should have beat Pittsburgh? Well, your momma shouldn't have had you, but she did, didn't she? Pittsburgh deserved that victory as much as anybody ever did. Pittsburgh is a good enough team that they could have very well been the team with homefield advantage. The Steelers may have been a sixth seed, but this isn't a typical playoff year. I've said all along that any team this year is capable of winning the superbowl. This is a unique year.
To say the Broncos got lucky against the Patriots? Right, a team that's won three out of the last four superbowls. A team that no other team has been able to beat twice in one season since Bill took over. A team that has been undefeated in the playoffs in their last 10 tries. A team that held the potent Colt offense to 6 points in the playoffs, ran away from Blitzburgh, man-handled the Eagles, used the Panther's fangs for toothpicks, and basically was being named histories greatest dynasty. But Denver just got lucky against them, by beating them twice in one year, and forcing five turnovers in one game. Denver took this cool and collected team no matter how down and out they were, and sent them into disarray, but don't give Denver credit. I guess New England Patriots just don't know how to play in big games, after all, they couldn't even beat Denver.
I believe that this NFL year is unlike any other. This year, any of the NFL playoff teams could have been in the NFL championship round. This year, the four best teams have made it to the conference championship round. Next Monday, we'll know who the two best teams are. They'll deserve to be there, unlike the eight teams that are sitting at home now.

First Church of Democrats
Bringing liberals closer to God since 2006
proudly talking liberalism in the bible belt
Worship songs play -
"O Holy Hugo Chavez, President of My Heart" - Choir
"I'm a Messiah's Soldier" - Solo by John Kerry
"It's a War, A'tax the Rich" - Choir (Fidel Castro on guitar solo)
Good morning, afternoon, evening, or late night. We here at the First Church of Democrats are proud that you have found your way here. We want you to know, it's not important when you come, just as long as you know what to say. I'm the Revrund Hal Bore and I want to welcome you and our visitors today. As many of you already know, my mother is the Goddess Gaia and I am her in the flesh. Please, please, I already know your hearts; you don't need to show me more adoration. Well okay, a little more is nice.
I have a sermon that will knock your socks off today! First, we have a few announcements to make. We understand that Sean Penn is having hard time quitting smoking due to large amounts from the Bush Administration. As you all know, despite more and more people that have quit smoking, the dangers of second hand smoke is increasing. Sean Penn unwillingly kills two people a day. That number is increasing and it's all because of the devil. George W. Bush hath possesseth Sean Penn. If any of you see him, please drag him here so that we can exercise the devil George W. Bush from Sean Penn. George Bush has been possessing many of our Godly citizens as of late, one of the cures is to come here to ask for forgiveness and donate money.
In other announcements, our missionaries in Afghanistan and Iraq have successfully committed 4,017 acts of protest against Bush's Islamic Holocaust. Please keep the insurgents in your prayer and please donate when the plate is passed around.
Also, my mother is getting mighty upset that George Bush and the greed of his oil company friends continuously harms or planet with drilling and wars for oil. This time, my mother Gaia spoke against drilling in the ANWAR. She had a tirade when she saw the damage done! In fact, she had five eruptions in two days! We must step up our efforts against Alito, or he'll give Mr. Bush even more control to destroy the planet! In fact, she was so upset over the Alito hearings that her second and fifth eruption was due directly with the kindness that the Senators showed over Mrs. Alito's fraudulent act of tears.
It's also come to my attention that many of you in the congregation have selfishly been eating fast food. If you continue to eat fast food, the Gods will seek vengeance by making your children obese and could lead to heart attaxs! You may ask for forgiveness by donating twice as much as you spent when the plate gets passed around.
Finally, Pamela Anderson has teamed up with PETA in their efforts to end another Bush Holocaust, this time against Chickens. If you have yet to see any of Pam's videos, you know she makes for great missionary. If you haven't, then trust us. If you haven't yet, please contribute $18.99 to us instead of spending it on a bucket of chicken. You may donate more, if you so choose.
We'll now pass the plate whilst Elian Gonzales sings "Great Holy Land of Cuba", for those of you who have yet to return your unwanted tax refund, you may do so now.
♪♫ 'We giveth all to father Fidel, ♫
♫the best beans he returneth us'♫♪
♪♫His hand is strict and furious♫
♫to those that raise a fuss!♫♪
Let us bow our head in prayer. Father, we know that the time hath come that ye shalt send thy holy child to walk among us once again. Blessedeth is us to have been in your guidance, and that of the Holy Spirit, Che Guevara. We ask that you send more guidance, so that we may be great socialist.
From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.
I thought I heard somebody say 'Amen". Just a correction, in this church, we don't say amen. That's too "Christian" and as we all know, that won't be tolerated. Please donate before you leave and you'll be forgiven.
There's been a lot of talk about Bush's police state, spying on great Americans and especially our missionary work. During my last campaign, my mother Gaia warned me that Bush was spying on my campaign. We tried, and we tried, and we tried to prove that Karl Rove was sneaking in on orders from George W. Bush. We had evidence, but not enough. We talked to Revrund Jessica Jackstone, and she warned everybody to "Stay out the Bushes" isn't that right Revrund Jessica Jackstone.
(Revrund Jessica Jackstone stands up and speaks:) I did what I could, but white people still wear a hood, I told them what was near, but they just wouldn't hear!
Thank you, Revrund Jessica Jackstone. That election in 2000 was a turning point in our nation's history. Had I not had that election stolen from me, we would have prosecuted Bush and done the lord's work. Karl Rove would be sitting in prison today, getting what he deserved by prison thugs had we won.
Instead we find ourselves being investigated everyday by spies of the misadministration. Those spies are everywhere. They are in your car, in your house, in your television sets. It goes beyond telephone conversations. They have brainwashed your friends. Republicans that you talk to everyday are not your friends! They are spies of the Bush administration! THEY OUGHT TO RESIGN AS YOUR FRIENDS! They are your brothers, sisters, cousins, and even your children! THEY OUGHT TO RESIGN AS YOUR FAMILY! YOUR WIFE OUGHT TO RESIGN AS YOUR WIFE! YOUR CAR OUGHT TO RESIGN AS YOUR TRANSPORTATION!
Bush stole the election in 2000 and he denied people the vote. He tried to deny me every recount that I wanted. He forced the military vote to be counted; now he's stealing our freedom! GEORGE BUSH OUGHT TO RESIGN AS PRESIDENT! I WANNA BE PRESIDENT! I WANNA BE PRESIDENT! IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ME THAT WAS PRESIDENT! I WOULD NOT HAVE SPIED! HE SPIED ON ME DURING MY CAMPAIGN, NOW HE'S SPYING ON YOU!
He's spying on your finances. He knows how much you have in your pocket and he wants your money too. You can protect your finances by donating it before you leave here. We'll protect it and it will help the poor! Plus, you'll walk out of here knowing just how much you care about the poor because you donated before you left.
Bush gets calls from Pat Robertson and that means Bush spies on gay people! Cheney worked for Haliburton which means they spy on the poor! And Bush spied on Blanco's administration and forced her to kill black people in New Orleans.
George Bush made you poor! George Bush made you black! George Bush made you Hispanic and Oriental! George Bush made you gay. He did this so that he has somebody to hate! He needed somebody to oppress! He stole the election from ME! HE OUGHT TO RESIGN AS PRESIDENT!
Let us bow our heads in prayer. Holy Father, we ask of you the divine guidance for those here today that have not sought out your salvation. Maybe you've strayed away from socialism and found yourself buying a new video game, a new car, or even a home. You know better than to go buy it. Deep down in your heart, you know that you are supposed wait until one of the revrunds to give it to you. To seek salvation, they must give at least $100 to receive forgiveness and $100,000 to receive a full pardon from Father Clinton. Seek Salvation, in the name of the holy spirit, Che Guevara.
From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs.
You may come forward now and seek redemption by clicking on the button that says Pay Pal.

CRISP ADS Don't let your blog be seen without it
Seriously, there's nothing to be afraid of anymore. Kathleen Blanco is closer to being recalled, 'Alyoto' will be confirmed, Al Gore is going to be public again, Airhead America is still on the air, and it's 2006! What's is there to be afraid of?
Let's take Blanco, for example. She's screwed up the state so bad that the REPUBLICAN PARTY DOES NOT want to see her recalled. Well, I guess that is scary. The more I think about a recall, the more I support it. I know some important people aren't too fond of the recall because they are are afraid of Myth Landrieu. They'll argue that he would be Governor til 2007 and would become indispensable to the state at that time.
My argument is since Article X deals with forceful removal from office, it then supercedes Article IV, thus giving us an election in 2006 for Governor. Even if I'm wrong on the Constitution, I would argue that a recall is good for the Republican party in the state of Louisiana. The reason is because during an election year, it's a good thing to put the additional pressure on the Democrats. The Democrats have a majority and a recall would force Democrats running for re-election to take sides in the recall. I think many Democrats would try to shy away from the Governor if possible and without the controversy of a recall, gives them the ability to do that.
A recall would force them to side with the Governor would divide the Democrat party. A united Republican party against a divided Democrat party during an election year? I like those odds. The Republicans are missing an opportunity to take control of both the House and Senate in Louisiana. They could possibly pick up another seat or two in Dee Cee as well. If that happens, Myth Landrieu as Governor would have to work with a Republican majority. Are you afraid of that?
And Alyoto? I know I'm not the only person out there thinks about Ted Kennedy's drive down Chappaquiddick. I don't know why ole Teddy has a problem with Alito, but what ever it is he ought to let it go. I'm just saying, he can drown both a car and Mary Jo Kopechne at the same time, certainly he can bury the hatchet. I know conservatives are upset with the the treatment that Alito has received, but it isn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I expected a Battle Royale and the Democrats really have nothing. Remember the treatment Clarence Thomas received? I expected Alito to be much worse than that.
It's smooth sailing for Alito, well, Judge Alito.
And Al Gore is about to go out there and show the world what an absolute nutcase he is. It's like having a girlfriend break up with you and you can't let it go. Well, after a while, you do let it go. Al Gore is still crying about losing the election. He's a mad man. He doesn't need a podium and a microphone, he needs a straight-jacket and a padded room. This time it's the police state he's going to be whining about.
Speekun of Al Gore, great news for you libs. Rev. Hal Bore will be our reverund of the week. I hope he gives us some insight into Al Gore's speech against George W. Bush. Be sure to attend Liberal Church this weekend! Remember, the Liberal Messiah is coming!!
I turned on Airhead America Radio today, or was it yesterday. It was the first time I listened to in since the week after Hurricane Katrina (which probably explains why I laid off the Democrats are Nazi's quite a bit). Anyway, I hope everybody listens to Airhead America Radio, they probably more effective for Republican recruiting than Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. It's great stuff, whenever I start questioning my party, I listen to Airhead America Radio and suddenly, I'm a loyal Republican. They actually want to win elections?
It's also the beginning of 2006 which means, NFL PLAYOFF FOOTBALL!!!! GO BRONCOS!!!!! Unfortunately the NFL Halftime show continues to get worse. This time the NFL selected arthritis and wheelchair rockers the "Rolling Stones". Who wants to see that? Hopefully Mick Jagger doesn't come out high on Advil and drunk on Ensure, walking around thinking he's a chicken. Or is it an ostrich he imitates?
And they also selected Harry Belafonte, or Aaron Neville. Aah, what's the difference? I'm not sure if I'm going to watch the halftime show or not. It might be worth it just to see the Stones (Sweet Neo Con) and Aaron Neville (Anti Bush Album) get booed during the Superbowl. A story on the Superbowl Halftime Show.
Anyway, what could be better in an election year? Liberals performing at the halftime show, a Democrat Governor being recalled, Airhead America Radio still on, and Al Gore? At the rate we're going, 2006 is going to be a great year in Republican history. All I can say to Democrats is this: "Keep doing what you're doing, we'll keep winning elections".
The one that some call the 'Liberal Messiah' is coming.

How far our country has come
There are times I wonder what it must have been like to live in another time. I know that there is nothing new under the sun and we all believe that today is the worst of times. But there are some differences in life in the past than it is today.
When FDR gave his first inaugural address, he told the nation that "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself". When Kennedy gave his, he told the nation "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country."
Now, the politicians are constantly reminding us of every little thing we should fear. Terrorist, Aids, Drunk Drivers, Sex Offenders, tax cuts, drunk drivers, car emissions, and for crying out loud, fast food and second hand smoke. Where does the insanity end? The only thing we really have to fear is the everyday encroachments of human freedom by all levels of government combined.
And as for Kennedy's great quote? Yup, that's out the window too. I was in a public library the other day and saw a poster that said, "Ask not what your country can do for you... No, go ahead and ask." Our society thinks Government is supposed to do everything for them and Government practically does.
Remember the "Don't Tread On Me!"? Even that's changed. Now it seems that our motto is "Don't Pick On Me!".This is the story that I am referring to. "Oh no, their picking on me, I'm going to sue them instead of leaving this private chatroom." What kind of thinking is that?
Mike Marlowe fully admits that he sometimes gave George Gillespie a hard time in that AOL chatroom.
But never in his wildest imagination did he expect to be sued in court for what he characterized as "razzing."
"We gave him crap," said Marlowe, a 33-year-old welder in Fayette, Ala. "I'm not going to deny it. I teased him and he teased me back. He gave it back better than he ever got it."
Where does thinking come from? Why do people think that they are completely excluded from the rules of engaging the rest of society? Why do people think that when they are around other people that they have a right not to hear fowl language? Or to smell people's cigerette smoke? Or to smell other people's bad body odor? Why are the rest of us subjected to ridicule in chatrooms while this guy is somehow above it? That he's special and if we pick on him, he gets to sue us?
But what his on personal behaviour towards others? I believe it was Ben Franklin that once said "Keep your troubles to yourself because half the people don't want to hear it, the other half thinks you probably deserve it." Well, I'm in the latter half with this fellow, I think he probably deserves it.
It's simply amazing that people think that they have a right to go where they want to go and DICTATE other people's behaviour to them. What if I decided that car emissions bother me and affects my sinuses, and since I had sinus surgery not so long ago, should I be able to sue Wal-mart for having a parking lot near the exit? Or would it just be better for everybody that I just stayed away from Wal-mart? Why do we continue to allow the minority opinion bully our society around with lawsuits and self-centered laws? The answer is because the majority of us still have respect for our fellow citizens.
I opened a door for an elderly lady today and she thanked me and told me how gentlemanly I was. Then she mentioned how we don't see that much nowadays. I responded that we can either complain about how our society is, our simply do our part and lead by example. I chose to do my part. It's simply common courtesy.
When your driving, are you really in such a hurry that you have to stop 10 feet closer to the stoplight? Or that you can't let traffic merge? What's with people thinking the world revolves around them? Do I have a right to sue the people that don't allow me to merge or block the intersection so that I can't go through? Should I just sue the next guy that does that to me?
RECALL WATCH DAY 3
There is some debate going on as to what happens should the Governor get recalled. Many Republicans fear, such as C.B. Forgotston, that if the Governor becomes recalled that Mith Landrieu would become Governor as spelled out in Article 4, § 14 & 16. Then you have people, such as myself, that believe that during a recall, Article X, § supercedes Article 4.
To me, this recall is much more important than who becomes Governor. To me, this is the people's revolution against long standing corruption in the state of Louisiana. It's not Democrats against Republicans here, but rather, politicians against the people. There's a good ole boy network that's solidly in place and it crosses party lines. Many of you are aware that our last Governor (Foster) was a Republican. What most of you don't realize is that he was a Democrat until he set his eyes on the Governorship. If he ran as a Democrat, he was so far down the list that he didn't have a chance. By switching parties, he had a much smaller and less formidable field to run against. By that time, the Republican party of Louisiana was torn apart by the forces of Duke.
Then of course you have our new Republican, William Daniel, who took a part time job with the city of Baton Rouge for $60,000/yr, then contracted it out to somebody else for less. He was a Democrat at the time, but he's a changed man because he switched parties. Come on folks, does anybody actually believe that? That's the unfortunate thing in this state, they'll move across town to run for office, or as Moon Griffon said, wear a dress if they have to just to hold onto power.
Look around our state, the real disaster to hit our state wasn't Katrina, it was Kathleen Blanco, Mike Foster, Edwin Edwards, Bob Odom, and many, many more from top to bottom. Peeople down here accept corruption and insist over and over that it's like this everywhere, just our guys get caught. Why is that? Why, if it happens everywhere else, yet it seems like everytime that some politician is in the news, you have probably a 50% shot that the guy is from Louisiana. Duke went to jail, the previous four insurance commissionars went to jail, Edwin Edwards went to jail. The list goes on and on. Supposedly Walt Disney wanted to build Disney World here in Louisiana but declined when some politicians want WD to WD-40 palms. Florida obviously didn't do that.
I'm not saying that corruption doesn't happen in other places, but it's so common here that people are apathetic towards it. It's a way of life. Edwin Edwards out-corrupted Bill Clinton so much that even Bill Clinton couldn't find it in his heart to pardon Edwards. Let's not forget that Congressman Bill Jefferson's home was wiped out by the feds before Katrina could wash away the evidence.
So it's with that in mind that we can not concern ourselves with the future. This state has had much to many problems to keep worrying about what happens tomorrow.
When I spoke with Kat Landry the last time, I told her that I applaud her efforts and told her that Edmund Burke once said "The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." This state has had both Republicans and Democrats in control, but the problems cease to exist. Hurricane Katrina only shined a light in the dark corners of Louisiana politics, but everybody down here knows that too many things smell fishy and it ain't the Mississippi river.
The New Orleans disaster didn't have to happen had it not been for the long standing corruption that Louisiana is so well known for. New Orleans was no accident, and people in Louisiana can complain all they want about FEMA, Blanco, Bush, Nagin, and anybody else, but the people that are truly at fault are the people of Louisiana. The VOTERS.
Too many people, good people, either voted for, or sat on the sidelines while the corrupt politicians ran. Too many times there were elections where people put thier own self-interest at heart. If the good people of Louisiana don't stand up now, then when? If not Kat Landry, then who? How many times have the people of this state put their own little selfish desires over the good of the state? How many people didn't vote for Jindal, even though they thought he was better than Grandma, because he came in the color package?
Or to throw Buddy Roemer out of office to put David Duke and Edwin Edwards in a runoff for Governor. Now that was a genius move. Marion Barry ought to leave DeeCee and run for office here in Louisiana. He's the right brand of politician, I'm sure the people of this state will be more than happy to vote for him, after all, he is a chickenhead.
One person that I spoke with suggested that if Mitch Landrieu get's in there, we'll lose the Governorship till at least 2015. His reasoning? Well Mitch gets in there and the state will turn around anyway, but he'll get all the credit and then we're stuck with him.
But if this state is going to turn around anywar, regardless of what Mitch does, why should we believe that it's not going to turn around under Blanco as well? It's going to happen anyway, right? What's to keep Governor Blanco from taking all the credit and actually getting re-elected? Two years is still a long way off.
It doesn't matter what happens in the future if we don't act today. We can start to clean house by starting in 2006. There are too many people in office here that don't belong there. We can start by recalling the Governor. A recalled Governor will mean that the people pierced the armor of arrogance these politicians have A good sweep of the legislature in 2006 would be another blow. It's the old adage of 2,000 lawyers at the bottom of the sea being a good start. A recall isn't the solution to this state's problems, but it's a great start.
If not now, when? If not now, won't the politicians only become more arrogant and confident that the people will never stand up to them? This isn't about party lines, this is about the good of Louisiana.
The nation came to our aid when we needed them the most, cleaning house is something we owe to ourselves. If we have another hurricane next year, and the damage is bad enough to set us back, why should our nation come to our aid again and clean up for us, when we won't even clean up our mess called the Louisiana politicians?

Are you a Liberal that is confused about what to call yourself? One day you're a "Moderate" the next day it's "PRogressive"? Are you disappointed in the kindness displayed by the Senators towards Alito on Monday and Tuesday? Are you a Liberal that still thinks George W. Bush is the Governor of Louisiana?
Are you a Liberal that feels lost because you don't know what your party believes from one day to the next? Are you a Liberal that hates Christianity or Judaism? Do you hate Bush? If so, you have found the right place. We, here at Louisiana Conservative have the medicine you need. Stay tuned because......
THE LIBERAL MESSIAH IS COMING!
Finally a God that you can believe in, a church that you can attend on your time without even having to leave your house. Since Liberals love Europe so much, it's only natural that we give you a European God. In fact, we have several Gods for you and some even walk among the earth with you. Like Jesus, they too are Gods in flesh.
Now you can worship the God of your choice and the best part about it, Bush is the Devil in the flesh! It's everything you could want in a religion. It's a religion where you oppose the death penalty, except for Christians. It's a religion where Republicans are terrorist.
You'll worship sex and lust, earth and sun, war and peace.
Not only is abortion accepted, it's beneficial. The more abortions you have the better career you'll have! You'll understand why some people are born homosexual. You'll understand their plight and will be more compassionate towards them more so than any of your friends. We'll end the 'Insurgent Holocaust' by George Bush together. You can be a part of something bigger than you and most importantly, you'll have your very own messiah that you can celebrate every December 25.
It's an exciting time to visit Louisiana Conservative as we have felt your pain and see your need. Now we'll be your one stop shop for your spiritual fix and there won't be a single person more holier than thou once you attend church.
We here at Louisiana Conservative are unable to believe in the new messiah since we already have that position filled with J.C. (Jesus Christ). I don't want to say his name to loud because it my hurt a supersensitive libs ear and violate his free speech if he heard me say Jesus Christ. Oops. Despite that, we understand your need for spiritual fulfillment and are provide a spot right here for church sermons. But wait, there's more!!!!
Louisiana Conservative also understands that you liberals expect us Republicans to give things to you voluntarily at a loss and probably free. Well, we understand your thinking and out of compassion, we do! At no charge to you, we'll donate the space for free! Wow! Free sermons, free church, next we'll have you screaming "FREE BARRABAS!, FREE BARRABAS!, FREE BARRABAS!"
You'll laugh, you'll cry, but more importantly, you have found home.

I warned you about the Health Police.
Warning, this post is a frank discussion about sex
Just when you thought the left couldn't possibly get any dumber. Just when you think you've heard it all when it comes to big government taking control of every little aspect of your life comes this story of a town in Colombia that wants to require everybody over the age of fourteen to carry a condom on their person at all times.
BOGOTA, Colombia - A western Colombian city councilman wants to require everyone in town 14 or older to carry a condom to prevent pregnancy and disease, outraging local priests.
William Pena, a councilman in Tulua, said Wednesday he will present a formal proposal to force all men and women - even those just visiting - to always carry at least one condom. Those caught empty-pocketed could pay a fine of $180 or take a safe sex course, he said.
"Sexual relations are going on constantly," Pena told The Associated Press by telephone. "If you carry a condom, chances are you'll use it during the day. It's not going to be there forever."
What's sad is that liberals in America will hail this as a brilliant solution as soon as they hear about it. They'll give it an overwhelming endorsement and it won't be long before liberals start introducing similiar legislation inside the United States.
The problem I see with it is that not all people cheat, but it is a government endorsement of infidelity. Telling married men and women that they need to carry a condom on them at all times is too suggest that they will, and already do, have extra-marital affairs. Further more, a wife doesn't have reason to question why her husband has bought condoms. He can use them more frequently and the wife would never know the difference.
But I'd rather look at this as an exercise in reality. With the liberal attitude towards sex, sometimes I have to wonder if they ever even had sex. Think back to your younger days, when your virility was at it's all time high. How many times while getting down and dirty did you stop to ask your partner if he or she had a condom? If one of you had one, you probably used it. Liberals seem believe that condoms are just used automatically and that sex fever can be turn off like a light switch.
I'm young enough to remember my youth and I must say, I hated condoms. I could not stand them. Where's the fun in wearing a condom? In fact, I really doubt that any guy really can really appreciate a condom. I don't know how women feel about condoms but from a man's point of view, they leave you so unsatisfied. Let's just say, they ain't no Snickers. If liberal men actually had sex once in a while, maybe they would know that instead of obsessing about sex so much. The guy is probably gonna want seconds. Maybe that's why women don't mind condoms
A guy is going to try to avoid using the condom. He's going to want his satisfaction. That's a simple fact. I've bought them and never used them. I went to planned parenthood and used them for balloons. When I did use them, they would often break. And for you liberal males out there that have had sex, how many times did it just fall off?
So let's take the heat of the moment, you're ready, she's ready, the clothes are coming off and you're going to get some, but oops, there's no condom. Does it really stop you? Let's be realistic here, it ain't going to stop you. Any guy that's has a girl's shirt off isn't going to try and try and try until the girl either gives in, or he gives up. Girls, a little secret here. If he doesn't have a condom, and he keeps trying, just reach down there on him, say "That's it????" and start laughing hysterically. He'll stop, at least I'm sure he'll stop.
Then there's the new problem you have. You're a law abiding citizen of the male species who wants to keep a condom in your possession at all times. You take your girl to the motel and you both have your quota of condoms, but no extra. Do you: Use the condom and take a chance getting fined on the way home? Or do you not use it and save it just in case you get pulled over and the police want to see your license, your insurance, your registration, and of course your condom?
Let's just say they want to abide by the law and not use the condoms. They have unsafe sex, but hey, they obeyed the law because they didn't use the condom and still have it wrapped up in their possession. Now this stupid law encourages unsafe sex.
But let's just say the guy uses the condom. Now he doesn't have one and is still unsatisfied. Guess what? The guys going to want seconds. So now she doesn't have a condom. So what happens if either one of them gets pulled over on the way home? Now there's even more questions. Does the girl tie it around her third finger on her left hand and show it to the cop if she gets pulled over?
And what about the male? Does he keep it as a souvenier? Does he hang it from his rearview mirror until he buys some more? Or does he just continue to wear it and show it on himself if he gets pulled over?
Quite frankly, I think this is absolutely a big joke and goes to show you how leftist think. I promise you that it is the left that will endorse this law and not the evil Republicans. Yet, somehow the left will tell us how Republicans want to peek into our bedrooms even as they endorse this government intervention in the bedroom.
Once the radical left endorse this idea and start proposing this type of legislation, I'll be protesting. In the meantime, I'll just laugh at the utter silliness of this stupid proposal.
Warning, this post is a frank discussion about sex
These are some liberals that are already endorsing the stupidity:
State of the Qusan
The Locust Fork

Kareer-ending KATastrophe? Or Kats.
Recall Watch - Day 1
On August 29 Louisiana was hit with a KATegory 5 Hurricane named KATrina. KAThleen Blanco, hold on, everyday I'm getting emails asking if I am related to her, the wannabe guv. I know this is an obvious part of the thought process and I appreciate the question. Usually, I avoid this question, especially since hurricane Katrina because she is a lot more controversial. But ask yourself this, 'even if Jeff was related to her, do you think Jeff would admit it?' So asking me is kind of a mute point, isn't it? If I were, I wouldn't admit it, if I ain't, you'd still wonder if I was just too embarrassed of her to admit it. I don't find the question offensive and I hope you aren't offended by my answer. But somewhere in the following words, somebody will be offended.
As I was saying, KAThleen Blanco was so inept during the last four months that at least two websites popped up to encourage recalling the Governor. Another to defend Kathleen Blanco by saying that webmaster was really upset with Kathleen Blanco and wanted her impeached but now she realizes it's George Bush's fault and we ought to impeach Bush, Rove, (hint, hint Thuuper-lib), Cheney, Rumsfield, Rice, and pretty much any Republican. The site doesn't exist anymore but a quick google search shows evidence of it. It's the fourth link down.
One of the websites was started by KAT Landry, who by the way is a Republican. I know, because the press keeps reminding us that she's a Republican. Still KAT Landry doesn't strike me as a political activist and I am unaware of any political activism that she's been involved in. Also, I had emailed KAT concerning the recall process and she isn't interested in this being a Republican issue. For her, it's a citizens issue.
In the days immediately following the aftermath, we know these things...
That KAThleen's administration encouraged political divisions by getting National Democrats on board to criticize Bush, as was stated in emails by the Blanco Administration.
That KAThleen's administration was more concerned about dressing KAThleen than they were about actually working.
That KAThleen's administration waited for buses from the federal government while she sat on hundreds of buses within the state and didn't even think of using local bus drivers.
That KAThleen's administration was concerned about granite counter tops from Sweden, while many resident had no place to live.
That KAThleen continued to put politics above the people of this state.
In the emails, the Blanco Administration was concerned about making Blanco like John Wayne and they succeeded in making her like Barney Fife. She wanted to be Governor, but was an Interior Decorator instead. She wanted to be the Delta Queen, but was the Court Jester.
The problem with this administration isn't that everybody thinks they are smarter than the Gov, the problem is that they are right, they are all smarter than her, even the interns. Quite frankly, I'm not sure anybody in the administration is smart enough to flip burgers for $5.15 an hour.
As a Republican, I can't support this recall. I don't think the Republican party supports this recall. It seems to me that Governor Blanco is like Bozo the clown and her administration is a bunch of Cookies. Someday, Republicans will sit back and laugh at her but for the time being, Republicans should be licking their chops at 2007.
If one were a Democrat, I don't see how one can't support this recall. She's been so inept that she's bound to lose Democrat seats and lose the Governorship for Democrats. Democrats best hope in retaining power is to have KAThleen recalled.
We, the voters, have to make a decision regarding this, Democrats and Republicans alike should look at this from the best interest of the state and not how we feel about her or our party. We ought to look at this as a business decision. Questions we should ask are:
"Can the state handle another hurricane season with KAThleen Blanco as governor?"
"Has she really put her political interests above state interest during a time of crisis?"
"Would our state be better off by dismissing her of her duties?"
Again, I can not support this recall as a Republican, but as a citizen of this state, I see no other choice. I believe the need for this recall is urgent and critical. As a citizen of this state, I applaud KAT Landry in her efforts. However, I won't actively search for the recall petition, but if it is presented to me, I will sign it.

Playoff Football, comments and AV~Picks
Last week I was 3 for four, 3˝ for four if you count that I accurately picked the Redskins final score (17). That ought to count for something right? No? 3 out of 4 then? I was right with Pittsburgh, New England, and the Panthers, but the one game that I want to talk about is the one that I missed.
I was really disappointed with the decision making of Jon Gruden. With about 9 minutes left in the game, the Buccs were driving deep into Redskin turf down by 7. On fourth down, Gruden decides to go for it instead of kicking the fieldgoal. They failed to convert. It was an understandable decision since the Buccs were moving the ball and the Redskins weren't but that's exactly why you kick the fieldgoal. Had Gruden decided to kick the Fieldgoal, the Buccs would have been down 17-13 with still plenty of time to go. Regardless of Gruden's decision, the Buccs still needed to score twice to win anyway, and pulling yourself within four points puts you in position to win the game. Either way, your defense still needed to do it's job.
The Buccs did get the ball again and got into fieldgoal range again but the Buccs again turned the ball over on downs. Kicking the second fieldgoal would have put the Buccs down by one with 2:00 minutes still on the clock. Once the Redskins got the ball back, they may have been more impatient with the ball and passed more, stopping the clock on incomplete passes and giving the Buccs more time. Up by 7, the Redskins decided wisely to run the ball and run out the clock.
The point is, take the points. Put points on the board whenever you can because you don't know what the rest of the game holds. The Buccs may have had a better game, but the better team won.
Speekun of the Skins, I'm sure that TJ EVANS will be happy about my picks, since I got the Skins wrong last time. Speekun of mah picks....
AV~Picks Semifinal round Sunday, Jan. 14

Pats declared war on everybody last week and the Broncos are next in line. As a Bronco fan I ain't gonna lie, we have something up our sleeve. I'm calling in Quentin and whenever I talk to him on Bronco gameday, the Broncs win. It's been our tradition all year long, except against the Fins, the Chiefs, and the Army Ants. Thanks in large part to my phone call, but mostly the Denver D and "No mistake Jake", Broncs buck Pats.
AV~Picks: Broncos 31 Pats 23

Pittsburgh at Indianapolis
The Steel curtain manhandled the Kitties to face the Colts. The Steelers could shut down the Colts but, Bill Coward plays scared in big games whenever he thinks a team is better than his. Will Cowards scared play calling cost the Steelers again? Or will he just play smashmouth all the way through this game? Me thinks, me bets, that Coward calls bad plays. Pittsburgh falls like a ton of steel, Colts Gallop into the AFC Championship game.
